Munich Dunkel Lager
Ranging from medium to dark brown in color, with a creamy head, Munich Dunkel Lagers feature prominent malty aromas and flavors, with only moderate hop bitterness. Classic examples use dark Munich malt and display a bready character on the nose and palate, along with mild chocolate, nut and toast notes. Malty sweetness is often perceptible but is not cloying. Its roasted malt characteristics make it a terrific entrée to stronger, often maltier Bock or Schwarzbier styles, which generally have a slightly roasty character.| Characteristic | Details |
