Cobblestone
Since 1975, the Levine family has been producing award-winning wines, made exclusively from grapes grown on their two estate vineyards. The Chardonnay comes from their 50-acre Cobblestone Vineyard in Arroyo Seco. This mature vineyard is densely packed with large stones sometimes called Monterey Baking Potatoes. Resembling the famous galets of the Rhône valley, these stones have a positive influence on both drainage and temperature, contributing to the unique terroir that has become the signature of Cobblestone Chardonnay.
Situated high in Napa Valley’s Atlas Peak appellation is the family’s 25-acre mountaintop vineyard. This extraordinary estate, devoted entirely to Bordeaux varietal clones, is the birthplace of their exceptional Cobblestone Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cobblestone’s wines are made at the Terra Valentine winery by winemaker Sam Baxter. Baxter shares the Cobblestone vision of showcasing true varietal characteristics without unnecessary interference.
