Pertois-Moriset
The small Champagne house of Pertois-Moriset is a family business created in 1951 after the marriage of Yves Pertois from Cramant and Janine Moriset from Le Mesnil/Oger. They were both third generation winemakers hailing from two of the most famous Grand Cru villages in Champagne.
The Pertois-Moriset family owns 44 acres of vineyards, mostly on the prestigious Côte des Blancs, in the noted Grand Cru villages of Le Mesnil/Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. The Chardonnay grape thrives in these villages like nowhere else in Champagne, due to the chalky soils and long, warm days. We encourage you to try these artisanal, high-quality, propriétaire-récoltant wines made from 100-percent Chardonnay grapes.
On the palate, it displays a long and lively finish with refined elegance that elusively unfolds to reveal all the subtleties of the blend. Its signature Chardonnay color, a tender gold with green highlights, dazzles and dances in the glass.
