Guide to Sake & Plum Wine
Sake is made from rice and is not really a wine at all, but more akin to a beer, as shown in its production methods. The quality of sake is usually based on how much of the rice has been polished or milled. Plum Wine is just what its name means: Wine made from plums. Wine does not have to come from only grapes. In fact, some people prefer wine of other fruits. Plum Wine can be used as strictly dessert wines or as a wine served with appetizers and entrees.
