Southwest France

Southwestern France is a region which includes all of the wine districts in the South Western part of the country, with the exception of Cognac and Bordeaux. Bergerac, Cahors, Buzet, Monbazillac, Gaillac, Madrian, Jurancaon and the Cotes du Frontonnais are just a few of the most well-known appellations. Heavily influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, there are few other generalizations that can be made for such a large region. Suffice it to say that some of the best values and many interesting wines can be found in this region.
