Rated 5 out of 5 by Some of the best Cabernet I have ever had This 2008 vintage wine was recommended to me by a wine buyer for a 5 star restaurant as being a terrific cab at a low price. Bought 2 bottles, agree! As good as ANY Napa cab I have ever had, and this wine is from Italy. Surprised the dickens out of me. Since the first bottle (about 2 years ago) I have bought many bottles, and recently 3 cases.....when this 2008 vintage is gone it can't be replaced. Get it while you can! GREAT Cabernet April 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A poor man's Amarone Perhaps one of my favorite Italian wines for the price. Rich tasting and well balanced. I call it a poor man's Amarone! March 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Gift This was given as a gift and I haven't received any feedback. December 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of my new favorites This is an excellent wine to just drink by itself. It has a good fruit flavor and a very smooth finish that I did not expect. October 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Allegrini Ripasso Valpollicella Excellent balanced slightly sweet medium bodied wine. Was favorite out of 6 similar wines costing up to twice as much per bottle. The favorite status is from blind tasting by 10 "amateur" tasters who frequently do social tastings September 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by This will become your Italian favorite! I first had this wine about 6 years ago and ever since then it has always been in my cellar. A great value in Italian wines, deep rich fruit with a smooth finish. It goes well with red meats, pasta, pizza of just because,,,,,, One of may all time favorites at a great price. You won't be sorry to indulge yourself in this one! August 27, 2013

Intense, Cassis, Berry, Vanilla, Medium-bodied

Wine Advocate - Veneto, Italy- " It reveals intense herb-infused, black cherry fruit interwoven with notes of white chocolate, mocha, and almonds. Spicy, rich, medium to full-bodied, and dense with no hard edges, this finely tuned red should drink well for 3-4 years."
