Rated 3 out of 5 by Good, cheap vodka. It's a cheap vodka. It tastes... like cheap vodka. It is almost indistinguishable from Taaka. That being said, cheap vodka is pretty good compared to cheaper variants of other spirits, like whiskey. Vodka is the easiest distilled spirit to make, so it doesn't have to be expensive to be good. Bear in mind, it is a sweeter tasting vodka (to me), partly due to the fact that it is made from corn (which is a grain). It's an excellent mixer at an excellent price. Does it taste as good as potato, rye, and wheat vodkas? No, but I still enjoy having it in my cabinet for variety's sake. Sometimes, I even drink this neat and compare it to my more expensive vodkas. The 750mL bottle is glass and the 1.75L jug is plastic, if it matters to you. May 1, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by on line store pickup My third experience with this service and I can't tell you how easy it is and painless, esp since I don't have to shop in the crowded store and wait in the checkout lines--I know what I want and get it in less than 5 minutes. Keep up the good work, I will be back October 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by American Pride Vodka Hi I just bought the 1.75 bottle at Total Wine here in Tucson; Az I paid $9.99 for the bottle. I like taking shots or sometimes I mix it with cranberry or Pineapple-Orange-Apple Juice. I usually sip it before and after dinner. Nice quality Vodka and your getting bang for the buck. When ever I get some over time at work I will buy Titos Vodka. But American Pride is a much better value. George October 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Value and quality This is the lowest cost 1.75L available anywhere, but it is easily better than some of the others that cost a little more (Fleischmann's, Barton's). I drink it in straight shots, VERY cold, but try that with Zelko, Rikaloff or Kimnoff (small liquor stores, $11-$14) and you will feel throat burn. Small beans, but I like that the label is a transparent sticker instead of a paper label that gets messy when a bottle from the freezer begins to sweat condensation. August 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap and good. I drink my vodka over ice and a splash of OJ. Went from Absolute to Boru {Irish Vodka} in which I drank for years. Fours years ago, I was introduced to Burnett's which was a low priced vodka and was very good. Could drink that all night and it never kicked you in the butt the next morning. Now I am on American Pride at $10.99 for a 1.75 ltr and its the best . It was recommended by a member of the Total Wine staff and the were right on with the recommendation. August 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Vodka is vodka ..... here's why Years ago I worked for a rectifier (processor), warehouseman and bottler, but not a distiller. We took in tank cars of grain alcohol from Clinton Corn Processing in Clinton, IA (distiller) at about 193 proof. We would process 15,000 gallon batches by adding enough demineralised water to the grain alcohol to bring the proof down to 80-90 or 100 proof (whatever you were bottling that day). Interestingly we would change the brand we were bottling up to 4 times per day but the vodka came out of the same tank. That happens a lot. There's only so many bottlers out there and many are doing contract packaging. If you can, check the DSP# on the side of the case to determine which plant produced the product. I clearly remember the lab guys saying "vodka is nothing more that alcohol and water. It you have good water and distilled alcohol from grain (corn) about all you can do to it is filter it." The labs bottom line was buy the cheapest vodka you can find because most likely the cheapest wasn't filtered as well. That was 40 years ago and likely the filtering process for the cheapest vodka today is more than adequate especially if you are going to add a mixer. The 'other' vodkas are all about marketing hype to get a premium price since they are nothing more than water and alcohol that's been filtered provided it's made from corn. The marketing guys have completely buffaloed the consumer. If it's made from potatoes that's a completely different story. Most vodka produced in the states is made from corn. If the label says made from grain then most likely its made from corn. July 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent for all I drink vodka and grapefruit on a daily basis and I am very choosy about taste, effect, and price. I was recommended this by an employee in the store and will drive out of my way to get it. June 28, 2013
