Rated 5 out of 5Â by DNRS Very nice, even if it's not the famous year
I haven't seen the WA review for this year's Borsao Tinto, but I like it a lot. I imagine it'll smooth out more with time, but it's not bad now, if a little acidic.
Looking for "Borsao Tinto" (i.e., the Borsao red), I found Borsao Garnacha. The seller said they label it as the varietal in the USA because that's what impresses us, while the rest of the world buys it as Borsao red. In 2011, it was a blend, yet labeled garnacha.
