Chateau Garraud Lalande de Pomerol

Chateau Garraud Lalande de Pomerol, 2010

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Choice Mild aromas of earth and cedar, on the palate this wine is fleshy and plummy with a pure mineral edge, tannins are integrated, pours beautifully, long legs. This is a good choice for TW wine of the year... when you factor in quality and price. November 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Probably "excellent" after 5 - 10 years Complex with a very earthy/mineral finish. The tannin hides the subtle fruit flavors. Can drink it now if you don't mind a bit of a rough finish following a heavy alcohol first impression. Nose not developed. Consider putting up a case for a few years. October 1, 2013

James Suckling - Lalande de Pomerol, Bordeaux, France- "The 2010 displays a solid core of fruit, with layers of chocolate, coffee and berry flavors adding character. Full and rich with velvety tannins and a long chewy finish." [BARREL SCORE 91-92]
