Cotes de Blaye, Bordeaux, France-This Merlot/Cab blend has aromas of black cherries, spice, cedar & earth. In the superb 2005 vintage, it is medium bodied with a solid core of smooth tannins. Blaye makes lovely wine at a very reasonable price due to its excellent clay & limestone soil.
