Dona Paula Malbec

Dona Paula Malbec, 2009

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by A serious wine This wine commands attention, especially at its price point. More violet than red, it has a nice balance between fruit forward and tannins. Definitely a New World wine, you wouldn't mistake this as coming from France or Spain. The nose is inviting, you taste prunes, mint, and citrus. Another kudo for Argentina's up and coming wine industry. September 22, 2013

Intense, Plum, Cedar, Full-bodied

Mendoza, Argentina- Intense red color with violet hues. Complex aromas with ripe plums, blackberry, blueberry, sweet tar, licorice, black pepper, mint, truffle with a hint of mocha flavors, giving an expressive and typical Argentinean character.
