Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Wheat beer I've tried My favorite type of beer is a wheat beer and I was wanting to try something from Germany and I think I found my new favorite beer. I knew this was going to be a great beer the moment I got my first sniff. There was something about the smell that instantly let me know this was going to be a great beer. The first sip actually surprised me. It was light yet full of flavor. There was very little taste of what non-beer drinkers dislike about beer. There was also not funky aftertaste that I have gotten from other beers; it was very clean in its finish. I like to drink a beer over the course of an hour to get the range of flavors it offers on its journey to room temperature. Needless to say the flavor never disappointed me at any temperature. Some beers are better cold and some better room temp. I honestly couldn't tell you if this beer was better cold or room temp because it was great either way. At basically $9 for a 6 pack this is probably the best bang for the buck when it comes to a wheat beer. The only negative things I could say about this beer is that I can't just go to my local grocery store and find it. Oh, and that I only bought one bottle to try! December 12, 2013
