Rated 4 out of 5 by It's Guinness Goodness I usually only drink Guinness around St. Pat's and Christmas and New Years. It's a good all around stout from the mother land. December 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I Love Guinness Draught - Drink One Every Day I fell in love with Guinness in Ireland and visit there every two years. In many restaurants in Ireland they serve the canned versions like we get in the US,; except they are a full pint, not 14.9 ounces. Be sure to check the bottoms of the cans when you buy to make sure the CO2 cartridge has not set-off prematurely. If the can bottom is rounded and not concave the beer will be flat and not taste right. December 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for a non draft Some people say that Guinness is "an acquired taste" But Im thinking some American who only drinks Budweiser came up with this phrase since most Europeans know and drink it very often. This canned version is the one that carries the nitrogen capsule within the container. Just simply shake the can and you can hear it. Once the can is popped it releases the nitrogen and one can pour into a glass. Although similar to the draft version its not exactly the same since its lower in alcohol strength (And some people may say it doesn't taste as good as draft ) But still, its good for a non draft beer to have in the fridge when one doesn't feel like traveling to a bar or pub that serves it on tap November 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply the best! A proper pint of Guinness is magical! Unfortunately most bars get it wrong. Once you have your first great pint, you'll never forget it. The secret to great Guinness is three things: Set your Kegerator to 41F. Set your beer mix gas (75%nitro/25%CO2) mix to 38 PSI. Clean your lines no less than once every other week. I only drink two beers on tap at my house. Guinness and Dale's Pale Ale. I've never been disappointed by either. October 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hard to beat the classic draught I understand some people may not appreciate the taste of Guinness Draught, but it really is a great beer. Most bars and pubs have it on tap over the Extra Stout version, and it is a very smooth and easy to drink beer. Don't let the color scare you off, this is black gold! October 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the one I was looking for.... I recently bought Draught instead of Extra Stout. Draught wasn't the taste I was looking for after years of drinking Guinness. Not sure why they're different. But, you might try Extra Stout instead. Draught was terrible. September 10, 2013
