Mailly Brut Reserve Grand Cru

Mailly Brut Reserve Grand Cru

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nectar of the Gods! I discovered this heavenly Champagne at a TW class on Champagnes and Sparkling Wines. There were several I liked, but this one stood out like a diamond! With a fragrance like nectar, it is light, smooth, yet complex - layer after layer of nectarine, white peach, almonds, mild caramel (nothing too heavy or too sweet). Literally Nectar of the gods! I can't say enough about this delightful wine, and my guests loved it too (served on Christmas Day!) I will go back to buy it again and again. At $40, it's a little more than I usually spend on wine, but it's worth EVERY PENNY! December 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by heavenly This is a fantastic champagne, i only drink champagne and it can become very expensive so i was thrilled when i did a taste test of this and DeMargerie at total wine - now this Mailly the only champagne i will buy - have noticed that DeMargerie is gaining in popularity but I can't drink that - i received 5 bottles of DeMargerie for my birthday and i gave them all away :) November 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hidden treausre People like to go with what they know and unfortunately, it is usally just a recognized name. Those individuals are missing out on something special with this Champagne. We have tried the different levels available under this label and they are all delightful and are comparable to much higher priced champagnes. October 25, 2013
