Rated 5 out of 5 by current favorite The perfect red wine with a grilled steak or hearty beef dish. We're on our second case in less than two months. December 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for the price My husband and I tried this for the first time over Thanksgiving weekend, and it was a pleasant surprise. I had wondered how good it would be, considering the price, but we both liked it. Of course it does not compare to some of the expensive cabernets, but for pete's sake, it's only $14.99!!! We feel that, for the price, it's a very good wine, and would definitely recommend it. Maybe it's not a special occasion wine, but definitely yummy for every-day drinking! December 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointment With the excellent Australian Wine Showcase review, I was expecting a much more pleasant tasting experience. But this wine had very little character, in my opinion. I guess you get what you pay for. November 19, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Monster mash Nothing appealing about this wine except the easy screw top and price. Light tannin, good color, bite finish and "tangy" . Might need a couple years to mature. Not french oak- more like stainless steel vats. Maybe a 4.99 bottle value. Fruit is covered by a chlorine smell. November 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mt. Monster Cabernet Really good! It has a fresh taste and aftertaste. Very pleasant wine. October 22, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by 'Monster' is correct There is a medicinal taste to this swill that gets worse.I'm turning it into vinegar & hoping that is better. October 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by fruit juice lacks depth. fruit overbears any depth that is there. monolithic. cant believe someone rated it a 94. In this price range, lots of alternatives. October 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Terrific Value It is very difficult to find an inexpensive Cabernet Sauvignon but Mt. Monster fills the bill. It is an excellent value for the money. Check it out! October 10, 2013
