Rated 1 out of 5 by Too sweet Way too light and fruity. Doesn't taste like a Cabernet. June 11, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too Fruity I like fully body and spicy Reds. Not my favorite March 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loving this red Took me a while to like reds. This doesn't have that sharp test on the end. Very smooth. Bought 2 cases! My husband's favorite too. March 21, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Yuck I thought my ears were deceiving me when I poured my first glass of this wine. There were bubbles. Not like the cabs I consumed over the years at all. My first taste was also my last. This was a bad choice for my wine of the night. Just that one taste left a bad aftertaste that lingered longer than I would have liked it to. They should take this product off the shelf. January 25, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by underwhelming Not terribly impressed. It is fine and certainly drinkable, but it doesn't have nearly enough body for a cab. If I was doing a blind taste test and you told me what I was tasting was just a generic red table wine, I'd consider this wine fine by that standard. But for a cab? It's just, I don't know, "thin" is the best adjective I can think to describe it. (I know that's not a typical wine review sort of word, but that's the word that keeps coming to mind. Thin.) I agree with some of the other reviewers here that for people who are normally not wine drinkers, they would probably say this tastes great. But it just doesn't measure up as a cabernet. Rated 3 out of 5 by Purplefootsocietypres I bought on the repeated recommendation of Total Wine's floor people. It wasn't a big investment, but it was sure a big recommendation. Thus, I was a little disappointed in the wine. It is pretty good wine for the price. I always try to keep in mind the price factor, because you cannot expect $10 bottles of wine to compete with $60 bottles of wine on your average day. But, when you find one it is a great feeling. 'Sort of like finding a valuable coin in circulation! So, it is not a great wine. But, I would call it right in the middle of the field for what it is. January 24, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Effervescence? As stated elsewhere, this is a very sweet cab. I don't have a problem with that, but it seemed effervescent. I wondered if the wine had turned, but then I saw other people had noticed the same trait. Since it hasn't turned, I'm drinking it, but I don't think that it is very good. Not as good as Bogle or Chateau San Michelle. January 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fairly bad 2012 vintage. Very sweet for a cab, but with a bracing bite that led me to check for efferfescence... It was still, but had a pretty weird taste. I buy a fair amount of sub $10 bottles from total wine, but this was not a winner. January 14, 2014
