Not worth half of what you pay for good cognac. Hennessey Paradise is a far better value, in my opinion.

With that money, I better smell roses ... a taste of honey ...violets. an exceptional nose of floral and spice etc,. etc. I had the opportunity to taste a $150 a shoot of this Louis Xlll and I was disappointed. It wasn't "all that" I certainly felt the richness sitting on a beautiful and expensive looking bar with the Louis the Xlll on a Swarovski snifter glass. I still recommend though for the sake of experience and a nice decoration at your home bar.

Not Roses...not honey...not violets...no exceptional nose, and body that does want to end. A non-singular cognac, that does not remind me of so many great Scotches I've had that possess rich layers for the palate to discover. A cognac to savor without a fine Cavendish pipe tobacco, and not with close friends to share in the experience.
