Rated 2 out of 5 by I agree with Vanilla Milkshake Guy Boyfriend and I had this wine. It was ok and we both agree with the reviewer that this is good if you want your wine to taste like a vanilla milkshake. May 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Every Day Red Smooth, good mid-palate, good acidity, reasonable length. Great wine for the price. January 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what you are looking for I'd imagine most people see the 90 point score at $11 and get quite excited (my reaction). Does not disappoint in the least bit. Clean red fruit and lots of Italian feeling acidity to hold it all together. Always fantastic. December 31, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Italian This wine is a great red for everyday drinking and good Italian food. It is similar to valpolicella in body and taste. Buy it by the case. December 6, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by If you want your wine to taste like a vanilla milkshake . . . These wines used to be pleasantly rustic, a little rough around the edges but a joy with pasta and red sauce. Sadly, the 2011 version has been so heavily oaked that it has lost any rustic quality. It is now massed produced plonk for newbies who want all their wines to taste like vanilla milkshakes. Not an awful wine, but totally generic and commercial. A real disappointment if you are looking for a wine with some Italian character at a bargain price. October 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfectly Oaked for me. This wine was a pleasure, not rough at all. Very sooth and perfectly Oaked for me. Great with pasta and a red sauce, I had this tonight with pasta, fantastic!. I was not disappointment with this wine at all and will be going back to buy a case for the Holidays. I can only say to each their own. My wife will not drink red wine and I don't really care for white wine. November 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A decent everyday drinker for the money Decent wine for the money,, will be anxious to have with food later on as it sounds like that's where its' strength is, generally a trait of Italian wines anyway. Initial impressions,, earthy, dark fruit with tannins that are somewhat bitter on the backend that continue to linger on the palate after drinking. Not much complexity, an okay drinker, especially if you're not putting it up with some much better wines to drink with. September 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by My New Favorite Red! What is not to like about this beautiful red wine! Soft tannins, easy drinker, soft tannins. So smooooooth! Thank you John the Rock Climber for this recommendation! I cannot wait to get back to buy more! Soft, yet very complex. You will say, "More! More!" Yummy, jammy, yet not too sweet or cloying. Ready right out of the bottle. You were right, John, a crowd pleaser. Take it to your next friendly gathering! So drinkable and delightful, that you might not want to pair it with food the first time, it is great on its own! Enjoy!! September 2, 2013

Fresh, Black Cherry, Strawberry, Medium-bodied

Int'l Wine Cellar - Marche, Italy- "Fresh strawberry and red cherry aromas are lifted by a mineral nuance. Juicy and fresh, with lively red berry and stony notes on the pure, vibrant palate. Finishes bright and long".
