Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant Surprise Having just returned from South America and made aware of Chilean wines, thought I would give it a taste. Surprisingly drinkable. Had a bottle with some excellent Eggplant Parmesan. Perfect balance for this hearty dish. Will buy again. Price is a plus. March 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent for price point This is a hearty gritty merlot, have been drinking it for years, it's always stocked in my house. So happy to have found it. This wne ages well, the smoke varies from vinatge to vintage. Best paired with grilled steaks, burgers, and roasted garlicky things. Great find for the money. October 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Fantastic Merlot for the Price This is a very smooth Merlot with a lot of flavor. I am not one to talk about berries, coffee tastes etc. All I can say is what ever the tasters say it tastes like, it has a great taste. We buy it by the case and it is a great value for the money. We have friends with a very extensive underground wine cellar and this is their favorite Merlot. October 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Dislike This is my first time exploring this wine. I had with my meal yellow squas and zucchini casserole. October 24, 2013

Maipo Valley, Chile- This opens with a nose of ripe blackberry and vanilla which leads to a palate of rich chocolate, toasty oak, and red berries. A terrific value from a great Merlot region.
