Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value sweet fortified wine If you like sweet wines you'll probably like this one. It's cheap and a good value given my tastes. It's a good choice for an everyday drinking wine, but I'd also consider it for a party if your audience aren't connoisseurs. I tried a cheap California port instead recently but returned to my old favorite Taylor. October 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Taylor Port I've enjoyed Taylor since living in Central Wisconsin 15 years ago. In the cold weather it can be gently warmed up to warm you up. It can be chilled when you want a cool drink. You can add seltzer for a bubbly drink. I've tried the California Ports but they are lacking in full bodied flavor. My opinion is that in California they are produced to Hispanic tastes whereas Taylor wine is from New York state which is predominately Puertorican. My evening relaxation begins with a small (4 OZ.) glass of Taylor Port. There are many fine "Porto" wines but they are expensive. Taylor is excellant and inexpensive to boot. June 8, 2013

A rich, fruity taste and smooth finish that is excellent with dessert. It is a moderately sweet, ruby red port and is perfect for evening sipping.
