Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Bourbon for the price Tried this 6 months ago when they offered a 5 dollar coupon. It is very smooth with just a slight taste of honey/sweetness. I am not a huge Bourbon drinker but it is a nice change from my single malt scotch. I will drink it neat or with a little ice, or i put a cube of ice and a trickle of water. Overall very good. Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent stuff Winchester is a decent bourbon. Not really sure it's worth the price per bottle for me, though. There are many other bottles at similar or even lower price points that I enjoy far more. There's just nothing special about this stuff. Not bad at all, just not terribly interesting - nothing to make me come back for more. November 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by very good I have made many trips to total wine and tried a lot of bourbons. of course you can find more refined bourbons at $40+ a bottle and I like them better. But for the price this is really good stuff. I also tried a bunch of their lower priced bourbons such as watkins, paddleford, southshot or something like that, buckhorn, two stars etc and this was definitely the best of any of them and you can get a half gallon of it for $56 with all the ridiculous taxes included. I read on the internet about how this was "sourced" bourbon whatever that means and how it comes from some corporation whatever, all I know is it's a good bourbon for a good price and I'm a straight bourbon, straight scotch drinker, I don't mix. I look for something to drink straight that tastes good and this fits the bill. Yes I'd rather have that $42 bottle of "real" Kentucky top notch bourbon but for $56 for the half gallon, this stuff is pretty darn good. October 9, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Disappointing I bought this bourbon based on an email I got recently from Total Wine. The message indicated that this was some sort of award winner so I figured it was worth a try. Turns out it was not. I found it to be extremely harsh with a scent bordering on rubbing alcohol. Most definitely will not be buying this one again. September 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value I was very pleased with the smooth great taste. Winchester tastes as good as Bourbon that costs twice as much! August 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Extremely well crafted bourbon. One of the smoothest, most balanced elixirs to grace my lips. June 18, 2013
