What does German liquor taste like?
It’s impossible to discuss German liquor in universal terms because there are so many different types that are produced. As a general (though certainly not universal) rule, German liquor tends to taste like whatever the main ingredient or ingredients happen to be, though, of course, with a unique twist. German cherry liqueur, for example, has distinct cherry notes. Depending on what else has been added to it, how the finished spirit has been aged, and how much alcohol is in the finish bottling, that cherry character can take on several unique expressions. The same goes for German herbal liquors, whose constituent blend of herbs and spices changes how each one expresses itself in the glass.
