United States - California - Red Tail Ale was originally brewed in Hopland in 1983 at the first California brewpub since prohibition. Red Tail Ale disappeared years ago until Fogbelt Brewing Co. in Santa Rosa brought it back. The brewers replicated the original recipe to pay tribute.
