California- American Black Ale- 6.8% ABV. Pours a very dark, opaque brown. Brewed like an American IPA with the addition of rich, dark malts. Toasted, chocolate malt character on the nose with citrusy, piney hops. Balanced flavors of nutty, roasted malts with fruity, piney hops.
