Ingredients
- 1/2 part(s) Simple syrup
- 3 dash(es) Peychaud's Bitters
- 2 dash(es) Angostura Bitters
- 1 1/4 part(s) Rye whiskey
- 1 1/4 part(s) Cognac
- 1/4 part(s) Absinthe
- Orange twist, for garnish
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except absinthe to mixing glass, add ice, and stir until well chilled.
- Meanwhile, pour absinthe into chilled old fashioned glass and spin glass to coat, or 'rinse', the glass. Pour out remaining Absinthe.
- Strain into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
