Spiced Champagne Punch

Champagne, spice and everything nice all in one cocktail.

Ingredients
- 3 cup(s) freshly-squeezed blood orange juice
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 whole star anise
- 1 cup(s) dry white wine
- 1 bottle(s) Brut Champagne (750ml)
Instructions
- Combine the orange juice, sugar, cinnamon and star anise in a small pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until liquid is reduced by about half.
- Remove from heat and stir in the white wine until fully combined. Allow mixture to cool, then move to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2-3 hours.
- To serve: Place 3 tablespoons of the mixture in each glass and top with chilled Champagne.
