This modern classic has become a favorite amongst bartenders, and with good reason--the balance between the Amaro, Bittersweet Aperitif, and tart citrus are the perfect complement to Bourbon.
Ingredients:
- 1 part Bourbon
- 1 part Amaro
- 1 part Bittersweet Aperitif
- 1 part lemon juice
- Lemon twist for garnish
Instructions:
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker tin and add ice.
- Shake hard until well chilled.
- Fine strain into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.

- 2.5 parts Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
- Half part simple syrup

- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice, and stir until well chilled.
- Strain into an Old Fashioned glass.
