Islay, Scotland- Has a rich, complex smoke, savory, even slightly meaty, but also full of dry wood smoke and a bit of ash. A bit of that saltiness carries on from the palate with lingering spice notes of white pepper, cardamom and star anise. Great to drink on the rocks.
