Albemarle Cider

Virginia- Apple Cider- Gold Rush is a recent American apple from Purdue University, named for its color and the rush of flavor it offers. That flavor is rich, complex and vinous. Its tart acidity, balanced with a spicy sweetness, makes it highly prized for cider.

Virginia- Apple Cider- Royal Pippin is a fruity cider made entirely of Albemarle Pippin apples. Pippins were a favorite of Queen Victoria and Thomas Jefferson grew them at his Monticello home. The cider has a dry, champagne-like quality and is an excellent accompaniment to desserts.
