Washington - Columbia Valley - Red Mountain - Notes of crushed walnuts, grilled herbs, cocoa and cigar box with ripe dark berries. Medium- to full-bodied, firm and chewy, yet with juicy dark fruit underneath and a flavorful finish. Drink or hold.

Washington - Columbia Valley - Red Mountain - Lots of ripe currants and hazelnuts. Tar, too. Full-bodied with round, velvety tannins and a flavorful finish. A mouthful and delicious. Drinkable, if you want big-up fruit, but better with age. Try after 2024.

Washington - Columbia Valley - Red Mountain - Pure crème de cassis, crushed rock, graphite, lead pencil and dark chocolate notes all emerge from the glass, and it has a stacked mid-palate, wonderful purity of fruit, and a serious, mineral-drenched finish.

Red Mountain, Washington - Explosive aromas, leading with fresh blackberries and dried, savory herbs. Hints of anise, clove and crushed stone. Dense and chewy on the palate, with an expansive entry that crescendos through the long finish of lingering, fine-grain tannins.

Red Mountain, Washington - Lush. Layered. Fresh. Bright aromas of African espresso, raspberries, rose powder and pencil shavings burst from the glass. The wine is balanced with well-integrated acidity and framed by firm, ripe tannins.

Red Mountain, Washington - Intense and brooding aromatics with layers upon layers. Blackberry, plum, mocha, graphite, fresh herb and hints of leather and forest floor. The palate is powerful and elegant at the same time, and builds to a long finish framed by ample tannins.
