Balcones Whiskey

Texas- Brimstone is made from the same spirit as the roasted blue corn whisky before being smoked with sun baked Texas scrub oak. Notes of sugar, cold smoked butter, corn husk and stone fruit. On the palate, candied oak, tobacco, orange marmalade and chili peppers. Long dry finish.

Texas- Lineage is made using a combination of Golden Promise malted barley from Scotland as well as malted barley grown in Texas. The spirit is matured both in refill oak, common in traditional Scottish Single Malts, and new oak barrels, as is the tradition with most American Whiskies.

United States - 50% - Balcones Texas Rye Bottled In Bond is the only Whiskey in the World distilled in Texas using only 100% Rye, Bottled in Bond, and Pot Distilled. Double Pot Distilled and aged in New Charred American Oak barrels. Amazing Rye Whiskey!

United States - 59% - Balcones' most premium and exquisite whisky release to date. This American Single Malt made with 100% Golden Promise malted barley was first aged in refill casks and then in a variety of 80 to 100-year-old Sherry Solera barrels.

Texas- Mirador is a second fill barrel malt profile whisky. This bottling is made up of whiskies ranging from 2-5 years in age but because all of the aging took place in used casks, the oak profile comes across much softer than some of their whiskies that are only half as old.

United States - Balcones sometimes finds individual casks that showcase nuances of flavor complexity that exemplify the creative innovations at the core of the distillery. This barrel of blue corn whisky is one of those special barrels finished off in tequila casks.

"On the nose, sun-kissed notes of poised pressed flowers and clover hay are engulfed by mango meringue and pineapple gumdrops. On the palate, blush lemon custard and white-chocolate raspberry tart mingle with more reserved notes of guava pound cake and prairie sage."

Texas - Aromas of rich honey w/ rose water and notes of poached pear, chai spice, burnt sugar and jasmine. On the palate there are hints of orange cream soda & apricot chutney. Spiced fruit & floral finish that fades to sweet pepper & spice. Specially selected for Total Wine.
