Ballad Ale

Virginia- Irish Red Ale- 4.7% ABV. A light bodied, crisp and refreshing malty ale brewed with authentic malt from the Malting Company of Ireland for a true Irish Ale. We hope you enjoy!

Virginia - American Strong Ale - 7.4% ABV. We took a delicious brown ale and doubled it. Ten different malts come together for a complex mix of caramel, toffee, and raisin with a hint of fresh cinnamon bun at the finish.

United States - Virginia - Remixing our classic sour, Just Pressed, is a blended wheat beer and sour ale that balances tart and sweet flavors with a refreshing grape, lime, and ginger accent.

Virginia- American Double/Imperial IPA - 9.0% ABV. Juicy and stone fruit forward Double IPA. Brewed, steeped, and dry hopped with a blend of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Hull Melon Hops.

Virginia- Gose- 4.2% ABV. Ballad Brewing's German-style sour ale brewed with cranberry, toasted coriander, and Himalayan pink salt for a fragrant aroma and tart bite. Enjoy this delicious German Style beer.

Virginia- Kolsch- 5.4% ABV. A golden Kolsch-style ale brewed with German hops. Our Kolsch is crisp and clean with a touch of honey sweetness and a dry finish. Enjoy this kolsch

Virginia- Gose - 4.2% ABV. German-style Gose that brings together Himalyan Pink salt, toasted coriander, and watermelon candy for a sweet yet sour, refreshing summertime ale.

Virginia- Gose- 4.4% ABV. Adapted from Nana's secret dessert recipe, this sour ale brings together marshmallow, cherry, pineapple, and a touch of lactose with our classic sour base. Another fan favorite from our Funkfest event that we host in the taproom every January!

United States - Virginia - This seasonal IPA was formulated and brewed by the special women of Ballad. In this citrus-forward IPA, it boasts a smooth body with an incredibly refreshing finish.

Virginia- Gose- 4.2% ABV. Inspired by Thai cuisine, this graduate of our experimental cask program combines lemongrass, galangal, holy basil, and Thai bird's eye chilies for a combination of sour, sweet, and a little bit of spicy.

United States - Virginia - Always seeking innovation, we launched our Hazy Series of IPAs. We look to combine hops in new or unusual ways. Each batch boasts a new combo of 3 or more hops in our quest for unique flavors.

Virginia- Gose- 4.4% ABV. A classic summertime treat with a little tartness. We took our house sour and added Rainbow Sherbet and a touch of lactose for a creamy, fruit forward desert sour.

United States - Virginia - Two Slovenian hops work together with Lotus and a little bit of Belma. Aromas of passion fruit and guava give way to orange, lime, and berry flavor with a hint of sweetness.

United States - Virginia - The Passion Fruit Gose is a German-style gose that brings together Himalayan pink salt, toasted coriander, and passion fruit for a beer that makes you think of tropical times.

Virginia- Hazy/New England Style IPA- 7.1% ABV. A New England-style IPA brewed with Citra, Lemondrop, Motueka, and Simcoe hops as well as a generous amount of creamy lactose to compliment the aroma and flavor of pureed key lime.

Virginia- American Double/Imperial IPA- 7.1% ABV. Juicy Winter IPA that features hints of tropical citrus, pineapple, and mango hop flavors. We could all use a vacation to the tropics!

Virginia- Hazy/New England-Style IPA- 6.4% ABV. Our annual Pride Celebration beer features a diverse collection of hops in a recipe co-fermented with two yeasts for subtle clove and banana esters, a hazy body, and bold citrus hop flavors.

Virginia - Hazy/New England-Style IPA - 8.0% ABV. Juicy New England style IPA brewed with orange peel and hundreds of pounds of Blood Orange puree, hopped with Mandarina, Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic.

United States - Virginia - The Balladeer has prominent citrus, pine, and earthy undertones, with a balanced, slightly sweet caramel-toasty malt profile. Grapefruit flesh, a middle ground of grapefruit, lemon, and orange zest, and very subtle "fresh earth" dankness.

Virginia - Gose - 4.2% ABV. Our house Gose with even more toasted coriander and fermented with raspberry, strawberry, and blackberry. Three delicious berries together with a hit of salt and touch of sour.

Virginia - American IPA - 6.4% ABV. A refreshing, fruit forward IPA brewed with 150 pounds of fresh cantaloupe to add a fruity sweetness that balances hop bitterness. Enjoy this IPA!

Virginia- American Porter. This style of beer generally offers roasted malt aromas and flavors in a dark-colored beer with a tan head. Additions of coffee, hops, or barrel aging are relatively common. Please see package for more information.
