Black Star Farms White Wine

Michigan - This Red House White is composed of Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc grapes. It is a fruit forward wine with a hint of barrel spice from the Chardonnay that is aged briefly with oak.

Michigan - This is Chardonnay made to compare with white Burgundy. Winemaker, Lee Lutes, loves the wines of Montagny and Mercurey and believes a Meursault comparison is not far off.

Michigan - Complex yet refreshing, with citrus, melon and delicate floral notes followed by subtle minerality and balanced acidity. This wine shows big fruit, a luscious mouth feel, but still maintains a dry finish.

Michigan - This is a lovely unoaked Chardonnay from a very good vintage. The terroir component of Northwest Michigan is represented well in this wine. There are flinty and steely aromas combined with classic Chardonnay fruit flavors of apple, citrus, and pear.

Michigan - This Riesling is a favorite of winemaker Lee Lutes for it is the medium-dry style that lends a touch of residual sugar and a balanced natural acidity. These characteristics make this wine versatile and enjoyable to many different wine drinkers.

Michigan - Aromas of fresh fruit followed by concentrated flavors of apples, apricots and peaches complemented by honey undertones. It's lush with fresh fruit and balanced with bright acidity.
