Buck Shack Red Wine

Lake County, California - Starting with varieties that grow best in Lake County, we created this Red Blend consisting of Petite Sirah, syrah, Merlot, Barbera, and Cab Franc. We racked it into freshly emptied bourbon barrels for three months and the result, pretty amazeballs.

CA - Cabernet Sauvignon starts off this blend to add structure and richness, Petite Verdot follows for color and tannin, Merlot and Cabernet Franc for aromatics and a splash of Zinfandel. With a big mouth feel and layers of complexity, this wine will please all.

Lake County, California - Aging Zinfandel in bourbon barrels shows off the natural ripe fruits while softening the tannins and adding an aged balance to the wine. Fruit, with cream and buttery notes, finished with a touch of toast. Each sip resonates with rich hints of bourbon.
