Chateau Du Breuil Cognac

Calvados, France- The mild and damp weather and clayed soil of the Pays d'Auge give the ideal growing conditions for its 22,000 apple trees which surround the Chateau du Breuil. In the cellars, Calvados ages only in oak casks. This cognac gives priority to quality rather than quantity.

France - Calvados - 40% - Colour: light gold. Nose: fruity, with intense aromas of green apple and a subtle finish of peppermint notes. Flavor: fresh and fruity, sophisticated and delicate, with a lime blossom finish

France - 42% - A tasty 7Yr Calvados from the prestigious Château du Breuil distillery. This bottling is notable as it has been finished in Oloroso sherry casks. Whilst double maturation and finishes are common in the Scotch whisky world, they remain far rarer in the Calvados industry.
