Mexico - 42% - Commemorative 50th anniversary bottling with 30% of blend being 25 year old Anejo from the founder's last batch. 70% is Chinaco Anejo aged 30 months in French and English white oak scotch barrels as well as American bourbon barrels.

Mexico- The first sniffings find very delicate scents of dill, sage, and olive brine; in later whiffs a fine creaminess is discerned. The palate entry is crisply astringent and vegetal; at midpalate there is a butteriness bordering on toffee/caramel. Ends up clean. Great for mixing.

Mexico- The initial nosings discover interesting scents of chalk/slate, green vegetable, and grass... The palate entry is pleasantly peppery and off-dry; by midpalate the astringent vegetal taste is underpinned by a satiny texture. Concludes lean and peppery.
