Dark Horse Brewing Ale

Michigan- American Brown Ale- 6.5% ABV. Pours a very deep/dark color of brown with a nice creamy tan head. The mouthfeel of the beer is very soft and is very drinkable. Flavors of malt, caramel, toffee, and a mild earthy nutty finish allow this beer to be paired with hearty foods.

Michigan- Fruit Beer- An easy-drinking fruit beer. With our motto. ..."beer first, fruit second," we only use real raspberries so the flavor is very mild fruit and balanced.

Michigan- Scotch Ale/Wee Heavy- 9.75% ABV. Silver Medal 2007 GABF. Pours reddish brown. "Aromas of fresh caramel apple with a hint of cinnamon inside of cranberry shortbread. Flavors of smokey chocolate chip cookie, wild roadside cherry-asparagus, and woody, crispy leaf on a fall day."

Michigan- American Double/Imperial IPA- 8.5% ABV. "Our most Aromatic IPA. Lots of hop aroma with just the right amount of bitterness from the secret blend of the most DANK hops that we can get our hands on and a 'more than healthy' dose of double dry hopping."

Michigan- American India Pale Ale (IPA)- 6% ABV. Pours a deep copper color with a bit of haziness. Heavily dry hopped to give it an aroma of pine and citrus, often described as "grapefruit". The flavors are big, yet very balanced between fresh hops and malt.

Michigan- Russian Imperial Stout- 11-12% ABV. Pours pitch black with a tan head. The aroma is bursting with roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, dark fruit, licorice & citrus. The taste blends rich, roasted malt flavors with sweet caramel, chocolate, woody notes, floral hops & coffee.

Michigan- American Double/Imperial Stout. This style of beer generally offers a very malt-forward dark body and high alcohol content. These are very dark in appearance and bold in flavors. Occasionally Barrel Aged. Please see package for more information.

Michigan- American Double/Imperial IPA- 12% ABV. Pours out a dark amber color with a dense head that has good retention and dissipates into a nice amount of lacing. Pleasantly sweet aromas with citrus and caramel. Flavors are sweet with notes of tropical and citrus fruits. Enjoy!

Michigan- American Stout- 7.5% ABV. Pours dark brown with a light tan head. The aroma blends blueberries, chocolaty malts, roasted coffee & light floral hops. The taste features flavors of sweet blueberry pie, roasted coffee, dark chocolate & bready malts. Smooth, creamy & delicious!

Michigan- Baltic Porter- 7% ABV. Pours an opaque black color with a thick tan head that dissipates slowly into a beautiful lace. Thick chocolate aromas with a bit of roast and coffee. Similar flavors with a bit of dark fruit sweetness and smokiness. Smooth, creamy finish. Enjoy!
