Glenglassaugh Scotch

Glenglassaugh Sandend is matured in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks for luscious waves of tropical sweetness with a crack of sea salt. Taste is waves of salted-caramel with an effervescent burst of pineapple, cherry and grapefruit, enlivened by the ocean shore.

United States - 49.10% - Our neighbouring harbour town of Portsoy inspires the deep maritime flavour of this richly peated single malt, matured in sherry, bourbon and port casks. Full-bodied with dark chocolate, fermented soy and charred mango with treacle.

Scotland - Highland - 41.7% - Glenglassaugh cask no. 1978 was bottled at 46 years old in a bourbon cask, representing an exceptionally rare and complex example of our coastal Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Notes of tropical and summer fruit on an ocean breeze.

Scotland - Highland - 58.5% - A luscious, ripe Single Malt Scotch, nourished by the North Sea air in the coastal warehouses of the historical Glenglassaugh Distillery, which overlooks the crescent beach of Sandend Bay. This whisky has been hand selected by our Master Blender.

Highlands, Scotland- "...Mellow on the nose, with fresh oranges and apples, developing toffee, and violets. Smooth and fruity on the palate, with dark chocolate, pepper, and discreet tannins. Long in the finish, with fruity oak.

United States - 45% - 2023 sees the launch of this new flagship 12-year-old single malt. Drawn from a selection of bourbon, sherry, and red wine casks, it's layered with soft stone fruits, toasted vanilla, softly salted chocolate, and sweet, nutty meringue.
