Grappa

Italy- A young grappa produced from the pomace of Sangiovese grapes. Distillation occurs in copper boilers after an aging process of 6 months. The aging brings out the characteristic qualities of the grapes creating an unmistakable bouquet of aromas that is distinct and long lasting.

Italy- An artisanal grappa. Full-Bodied with a note of fresh fruit and floral aromas typical of the Fruilian wines. Crisp, flowery with a touch of citrus oil, veru light almonds and soft grape flavors with notes of peaches and apricots.

Italy - More prominent honey and fruit flavor which makes for easier drinking and not getting sick on the stomach from the sweetness. A taste sensation of soft, smell of under wood and fresh flowers.

Italy- Made from the same grapes that produce Brunello, this grappa is smooth, nutty, and just a touch sweet. It is aged in oak for a short time, so it also picks up very light wood and herbal flavors.

Italy- In Venetian dialect sarpa means pomace, or the grape solids that are used to make grappa. Sarpa di Poli is made by distilling the marcs of two grape, Cabernet (40%) and Merlot (60%). This grappa boasts an herbal bouquet with notes of mint, rose and geranium.

Italy - Pale golden color. Suede, toasted Brazil nuts, and fragrant baked plum and pear aromas. A round, silky entry leads to a dry-yet-fruity medium -to-full body of a melange of stone fruit. Finishes with a long, fruit and spice fade with a dash of white pepper and mineral dust.

Piedmont, Italy- A bouquet that starts out with a brass section and finishes with the single violin. Palate entry is piquant, intensely grapy and almost jam like; finishes soft, gentle and concentrated. Highly-rated Nebbiolo Grappa from the Sperss Vineyard.

Piedmont, Italy- This clear grappa has delicat floral and spice aromas and a dense body. The finish is rich in extracts, fresh and harmonious. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Gaja's celebrated Darmagi Vineyard.

Italy - The Camomile flowers are picked when they are fully ripe, dried, strained, and left to steep in the grappa for eleven months. Sweeter than most grappas, it offers hints of honey, lavender, and green tea that complement the rich flavors of Camomile.

Italy - 35% - Miele di Poli is a grappa-based liqueur with intense aromas of acacia and orange blossoms. On the palate it is sweet with secondary notes of balsam, juniper and mint; overall delightful and rich.

Italy- This grappa is aristocratic, elegant and pure. Unique in its balance with notes of melon, green grapes, minerals and moonflower. Honeydew and white pepper play on the tongue, with orange blossom quickly following on the medium grained texture.

Italy- Pale golden amber color. Honeycomb, nut oil, and baked peach aromas follow through to a soft, round entry and a dryish medium body with accents of cocoa, leather and loam. Finishes with a peppery sweet honeyed cayenne fade with a nice bite. Nice poise and power.
