Imperial Black Ale

Wisconsin- American Double/Imperial Stout- 9.5% ABV- This is a stout made with a dark Belgian malts. In addition it is infused with notes of vanilla and coffee to make a sweet drink.

Texas- American Double/Imperial Stout- 9.8% ABV. 75 IBUs. Pours a near black. "Colossal additions of American hops are used to balance the robust malt character and infuse this ale with their distinctly citrus-like qualities. It can be consumed now or laid down for further enjoyment."

Washington- Specialty Beer- 9.5% ABV. This robust black ale is full with rich dark caramel, unsweetened chocolate, and hints of coffee aromas and flavors. Stately indeed, but at 9.5% ABV, perhaps it is just a vain attempt to encourage the trickster spirit to act respectably.

California - American Stout. This style of beer generally offers roasted malt flavors and aromas followed by a hoppy finish. These are dark in appearance with a tan head and a moderately high alcohol content.

NC- Russian Imperial Stout- 10.0% ABV. This special beer is robust, thick, jet black and oily in texture. Complex flavors of roast malts dominate: bitter chocolate and espresso coffee especially. There is also a very big hop presence both for bittering and for aroma.

New York - American Double/Imperial Stout - 12.4% ABV. This vintage of Black Ops was aged in Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon barrels to call forth big chocolate and coffee notes and a rich, mellow underpinning of vanilla-like oak.

South Carolina- American Double/Imperial Stout- 9.3% ABV. Pours pitch black in color. Aromas of cocoa, dark chocolate and dark fruit. On the palate, sweet dark chocolate, roast malt, dark fruit and leafy hops intermingle. A bit of smoky character adds complexity.
