Imperial Chocolate Ale

Washington- American Double/Imperial Stout- 8.5% ABV. Darker Persuasion is brewed with rich coconut, vanilla & cacao nibs which evoke flavors of German chocolate cake. Dark roasted specialty malts enhance the chocolate character and make this stout decadent and extremely drinkable.

Minnesota- American Imperial Porter- 10.0% ABV. Thick, chewy, and decadent. We double down on our fan favorite, CPB, and made it an imperial. Featuring twice the chocolate, peanut butter, and malty goodness.

United States - North Carolina - Our 10th Anniversary Ale is a blend of Bourbon Barrel-Aged 10w-40 Imperial Stout, BBA Barleywine and BBA Belgian quad.The resulting amagamation is a balancing act of decadent and sweet chocolate, roasty malt, and toffee.

Michigan- American Double/Imperial Stout- 11.2% ABV. BARREL AGED. An imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Awesome!

Connecticut- American Double/Imperial Stout- 12% ABV. Pours out jet black with a creamy crown of mocha froth. Robust aromas of roasted espresso, chocolate, dark fruits and a bit of brown sugar. Rich flavors that are similar to the nose with a bit of smokiness. Strong, creamy finish.

United States - Oklahoma - Prairie Artisan Ales created a stout/brown ale blend inspired by a "Turtle" flavored dessert. The tasting notes are pecans, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and caramel.

Michigan- American Double/Imperial Stout- 12.0% ABV. Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, inspired by Mexican hot chocolate. It is carefully blended with Dutch chocolate coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, and habaneros which will leave you with the perfect balance of chocolate and heat.

Colorado & NC- Russian Imperial Stout- 10.5% ABV. This is immensely viscous and loaded with neck-deep flavors of chocolate, malt, coffee, cocoa and oats. It's the beer equivalent of a decadently rich milkshake made with Whoppers malted-milk balls and Heaven's best chocolate ice cream.

California- Russian Imperial Stout. This style of beer generally offers a full body and complex flavor and aroma with notes of dried fruit, coffee, and dark chocolate. These are often dryer than English or American Stouts and higher in abv.

United States - Connecticut - Designed to mimic and Irish Car Bomb...This imperial stout leans fully into indulgence. Waves of roasted barley and dark chocolate rise first, followed by sweetness from lactose that softens the stout’s natural intensity. As it warms, notes of Irish cream

United States - Michigan - You need to indulge in this Imperial Stout was aged in Bourbon Barrels and hit with chocolate, hazelnut and bacon creating a decadent cake-like tasting beer!

Michigan- American Double/Imperial Stout- 10.6% ABV. The 2nd release in Founders "Backstage Series," this is a traditional Imperial Stout brewed with a blend of coffee & imported chocolates, then aged in used bourbon barrels that have most recently been aging pure Michigan maple syrup.

CO- Dunkelweizen- 7.5% ABV. Double Dunkel is an imperial dunkel brewed with lots of chocolate malt and cacao nibs. We lager it on Madagascar vanilla beans. This is a highly drinkable, slightly dangerous lager that is smooth and has a nice crisp lager finish.

Ireland - An exceptional imperial stout aged in Irish whiskey barrels from Killowen Distillery. Rich with notes of chocolate and dark roasted coffee, finishing with Christmas notes of cinnamon and dried fruit.

New York - American Double/Imperial Stout - 12.4% ABV. This vintage of Black Ops was aged in Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon barrels to call forth big chocolate and coffee notes and a rich, mellow underpinning of vanilla-like oak.

United States - Illinois - This indulgent Imperial Chocolate Stout flaunts a robust body (obviously), and decadent flavors. Overflowing with rich notes of cinnamon, and caramelized sugar, with hints of freshly baked dough throughout. Churros dunked in hot chocolate!

Idaho- Specialty Beer- 10.5% ABV Imperial Stout with Cinnamon, Vanilla, Cocoa Nibs, Ancho Chilies and Cayenne. Silky body with notes of vanilla and cinnamon, chocolate finish with a slight spice from peppers. Reminiscent of a Mexican chocolate cake.

United States - California - Winter in Hokkaido is a Matcha Imperial Stout brewed with Matcha Cafe Maiko. The sweet and grassy notes of Matcha pair perfectly with the dark chocolate and coffee notes of the Stout for a treat in a glass or can.

Oklahoma - American Double/Imperial Stout - 13% ABV An imperial stout aged on coffee, chocolate, vanilla beans, & ancho chili peppers. The peppers add the right amount of heat to complement the intense coffee and chocolate flavors. Named a RateBeer Top 100 in the World for 3rd year.
