Joseph Drouhin White Wine

Macon Villages, Burgundy, France- A clean, crisp, very dry styled Chardonnay, with nice acidity balanced by a fresh fruit palate filled with crisp pear and granny smith apple flavors. The long finish helps make this wine perfect as an aperitif or with broiled seafood.

Chablis, Burgundy, France- Crisp and clean with a grassy note, this light- to medium-bodied white displays green apple and honey on the zingy, lingering finish. Produced by the highly regarded Drouhin firm.

Puligny-Montrachet, Burgundy, France - "A wine of great finesse, distinguished and elegant. The colour is pure and bright, with light glints of white gold. The aromas evoke trees in bloom and white flesh fruit, like white peaches."

Pouilly Fuisse, France- Good complexity in this ripe and rich white. Supple and fairly oaky style, weaving the toasted bread, creme brulee edges into the nice lemon, pear and honey flavors. Great introduction to Burgundian Chardonnay.

Chassagne-Montrachet, Burgundy, France - Subtle pale gold in the glass, opening with pear skin, lemon zest and a whisper of toasted hazelnut. The palate is crisp yet textured—fine chalky minerality underpins the fruit, while gentle oak and poised acidity drive a clean, lingering finish.

Burgundy, France- Light to medium-body, this wine has a smooth textured and is surprisingly complex in flavor. A palate of banana and grapefruit lead into hints of butter, with a modest finish. An excellent value.
