Kaiyo Whiskey

Japan- Kaiyo Japanese whisky is final ocean matured whisky aged in Mizunura Oak. These are the most expensive barrels in the world. Made from barley and un-chill filtered. Delicate nose with vanilla, ripe dried fruit and hints of cherry, with a long lingering finish.

Japan- Kaiyo Cask Strength Japanese Whisky is matured in the finest Mizunura oak casks. The casks are hand made due to the Mizunura oaks delicate wood grain. Extremely smooth with great complexity and a lovely balance of fruit, silky malt, and a touch of dark chocolate.

Japan- Matured in the finest Japanese Mizunara oak casks, Oloroso Sherry, and Pedro Ximenez casks for a distinctive flavor profile. Awarded IWS 2020 Best Japanese Whisky 1st place for a non age statement whisky.

Japan - 46.00% - Kaiyo Whisky The Ramu is the perfect union of Japanese and Caribbean flavors. This whisky is aged to perfection in Japanese Mizunara Oak casks for 6 years, then an additional two years in Caribbean JM Rhum agricole barrels.

Japan - The un-chill filtered malt whisky ages for 3 years in Japanese Mizunara oak before heading out to sea for 3 months. Upon returning to Japan, it ages 7 years before being briefly rested in former Ruby port pipes for 4 months.

Japan- Aged first in madeira casks and then transferred to Mizunara oak casks. The aging process continues on a unique sea voyage. Notes of smoke, cherry blossom, and honey with a long dry finish. Awarded IWS 2020 Best Japanese Whisky 2nd place for a non age statement whisky.

Japan- Matured in the finest Japanese Mizunara oak casks. They are among the rarest casks in the world and are considered the finest in which to mature whisky. After years of maturing our casks go on a go on a final maturation at sea voyage for up to 3 months, leaving from Osaka Japan.

Japan - This unique bottling from Kaiyo is one of the first of its kind - aged full term in first fill Japanese "Kuri" chestnut barrels. After 7 years of aging in Japan, the barrels go to sea for 90 days, as all of Kaiyo's whiskies do. It is then taken back to Japan and bottled.

Japan- Typically, we blend these barrels to create our signature blends, but the single barrels that are selected are so unique that our master blender, Jeffrey Karlovitch, could not pass up the opportunity to show them off to the world.

Japan - 46.00% - The Unicorn is a highly allocated 10 Year Old whisky aged 5 years in Japanese Mizunara Oak Casks and then aged 5 Years in Old Bourbon Barrels. The result is a beautifully balanced whisky, with a superbly smooth mouthfeel.
