Kolsch Beer

Germany- Kolsch- 4.8% ABV. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a frothy white head that settles nicely. Dry malts and bakery bread aromas on the nose. Hints of honey. Malty flavors with doughy bread. Finishes crisp.

United States - Missouri - Pale pilsner malt create a crackery base that will please all palates. Small late boil whirlpool additions of Tettnang give a light floral and spicy flavor and aroma. Perfect for a light session that wont overwhelm your senses.

California- Kölsch- This beer is brewed at warm temperature with ale yeast, and then lagered at a low temperature like a Pilsner. The addition of 5% wheat adds to a subtle fruity character to balance out the hops.

Virginia- Kolsch- 5.3% ABV. Our house beer is a Kolsch-style ale designed to be easy drinking, but still full of bready malt flavor and floral aromas from the German hops. Enjoy!

Alaska- Kölsch- GABF Silver Medal 2008. Alaskan Kolsch balances a softly malted palate with the clean freshness of Hallertauer hops. In the tradition of the style, neither overpowers the other. Both hops and malt come together to refresh and renew the palate.
