Islay, Scotland- An all-malt Scotch whisky, malted barley is dried over a peat fire for a unique full, rich flavor. Aroma and flavors are of blue peat smoke, the sweet nuttiness of the barley, the delicate heathery perfume of Islay's streams.

Scotland - Islay & Islands - 43.8% - A collectable series of aged Laphroaig. Aged in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon casks and European oak sherry-seasoned hogsheads. The gentle sherry influence has added notes of fruit cake and subtle spice.

Scotland - Islay & Islands - 48% - Islay, Scotland- Maturation has been speeded up by ageing in Quarter Casks. This shows soft sweetness and a velvety feel when first tasted, then the intense peatiness on the finish.

Scotland - Islay & Islands - 58.3% - Non-chill-filtered and cask strength at 58.3% ABV. So, what you pour is what was drawn from the barrel. A powerful, pungent and rich character where the peat smoke, heather and sea salt notes of Laphroaig run wild.

Islay, Scotland - To the nose, classic, medicinal peat notes up front, supported by citrusy, chocolaty sweet notes and soft barley. The peat is there, but it is taking it easy and letting the bright notes of lemon, green apples and mint stand out. The finish is medium length.
