Laphroaig Whiskey

Scotland - 75.5% - The 2023 Càirdeas release from Laphroaig will be a mix of White Port and Madeira casks. This is the first of its kind to be released by the new master distiller Barry MacAffer.

Scotland - Islay & Islands - 43.8% - A collectable series of aged Laphroaig. Aged in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon casks and European oak sherry-seasoned hogsheads. The gentle sherry influence has added notes of fruit cake and subtle spice.

Scotland - 58.5% - Vibrant yellow gold. Sweet, stewed apples topped with crispy, slightly caramelized pastry aroma. Sweet, spicy notes, with vanilla, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Long, warming finish with notes of spice, oak, and sea salt.

Islay, Scotland- The 28 year old was drawn from a wide range of casks, from quarter casks to Sherry butts, before being married and finished for a year in Sherry casks. Those are two quite different styles of maturation, and that matters in Scotch and doubly matters in a 28 year whisky.

Scotland - 45.5% - Non-chill filtered, notes of salted caramel, roast chestnuts and cold barbecue ash, double matured in first fill ex-bourbon American Oak barrels and Pedro Ximénez Oak Hogheads.
