Leopold Bros Whiskey

USA - Leopold Bros. painstakingly re-engineered a Three Chamber Still from old manuscripts and grew the heritage grain Abruzzi rye that was favored by Pre-Prohibition distillers to resurrect this one-of-a-kind whiskey. They source heritage grains and then grew them in eastern Colorado.

Colorado- Made by blending Montmorency tart cherries from Michigan with our whiskey. The spirit then rests in ex bourbon barrels, giving the flavors time to marry and mature while drawing out notes of vanilla, marzipan, and spice. Bottled by hand to preserve the bright cherry notes.

USA- Inviting peach and sweet candied orange peel, brown sugar, and honey aromas and flavors. Silky smooth with a smoky whiskey finish. Very unique and flavorful. Enjoy neat.

Colorado- Vanilla, raspberry and apple on the nose. Loads of mouth coating vanilla gives way to subtle black licorice and the perfect amount of oak on a rewarding and lingering finish. Sour mash fermented at cooler temperatures for a softer style whiskey. Aged in charred virgin oak.

United States - 50.00% - 5 years old, the Maryland Style Rye at the full Bottled-in-Bond strength of 100 proof, without filtration. As a result, it is fuller bodied with notes of pear, lavender, orange peel, cocoa nibs, peach and rose petal.

United States - 50.0% - George Dickel and Leopold Brothers Collaboration Blend Rye Whisky honors the tried and true roots of American whisky production by mixing Leopold Bros.

Colorado- Rich cinnamon, clove, licorice root, and rye aromas with hints of red berries and orange rind. Notes of vanilla, toffee, and light honey on the palate followed by sharp citrus, cinnamon, dark chocolate, and smoky rye. Long finish with more dark chocolate and red berries.

USA - We begin by fermenting a traditional sour mash of corn and rye at colder temperatures, but without the aid of refrigeration. Fermentation takes more time this way, but results in a softer whiskey and develops subtle flavors such as vanilla, pear, and raspberry. Enjoy!
