Petite Verdot Red Wine

Spring Mountain District, Napa, CA- This lot shows how amazing this blending grape can be as a standalone. A wine with big inky dark fruit and spicy notes from the warmer vintage. Round and full of structure with chewy tannins.

Galilee, Israel - Yarden Petit Verdot exhibits ripe red and black fruit notes, along with characters of spice, flowers, tobacco, chocolate and French oak. This flavorful and full-bodied wine displays a bit of tannic structure, which is typical to the variety.

Washington - Columbia Valley - Red Mountain - Sleek and well-built, with a generous core of black cherry, bay leaf and toasty spices that gathers richness toward polished tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot.

New York- North Fork of Long Island- Aged in mostly neutral wood (only 10% new oak) for nearly 3 years. Darkly colored red wine, reflective of the unique character of Petit Verdot grown on the North Fork. The wine has firm acid, lovely dark red and blue fruits, and well-defined tannins.

Israel - A full-bodied, red wine with just the right amount of spicy oak in the background. Blackcurrant, blueberry and purple plum fruits on the nose and palate. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Cabernet Franc (19%), Merlot (6%) and Petite Verdot (5%).

An elegant, rich red wine with a touch of licorice and dark berry aromas. The well integrated oak enhances the tannins of the grape resulting in a very velvety mouth feel and a smoky finish.

France - Bordeaux - Saint-Estephe - "Aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, pencil shavings and tobacco. Medium- to full-bodied, this is creamy and crunchy with open, velvety tannins and a juicy finish. 71% merlot, 23% cabernet sauvignon, 5% petit verdot and 1% cabernet franc."

Columbia Valley, WA- Blended from 3 separate parcels. this 100% Petit Verdot is dominated by black and blue fruit aromas. The full-bodied wine continues with vibrant blueberry flavor on the palate with a complex finish.
