Port Ellen Scotch

Scotland – RARE FIND – A single malt from the mothballed Port Ellen Distillery in Islay. Aged 35 years in a single refill barrel, aromas of flamed orange peels, biscuity malt, and delicate notes of vanilla fudge. Well balanced with flavors of peat, salted papaya and fresh charcoal.

Islay, Scotland - Port Ellen matured in sherry cask can be spicy and sweet, while bourbon cask can be peppery. Both casks show high level of peatiness, an incredible complexity which Islay fans adore. Sip neat or add a drop or two of water to open up the flavor and aroma. Enjoy!
