Portugal - Douro - The debut of a new monovarietal in Crasto's lineup, sourced from 35-year-old vines. It was aged for 18 months in 90% used French oak. This has a touch of rhubarb and herbs, then plums. Good depth and moderate tannins allow the wine to seem serious and well balanced.

Portugal - Douro - Aged in new French oak for 16-18 months, depending on the plot. Rather tight on the finish and showing a fair share of power, this is focused and delicious, with big fruit on the gripping finish. Will continue to age well in the cellar.
