Portugal - Douro - The debut of a new monovarietal in Crasto's lineup, sourced from 35-year-old vines. It was aged for 18 months in 90% used French oak. This has a touch of rhubarb and herbs, then plums. Good depth and moderate tannins allow the wine to seem serious and well balanced.

Portugal - Douro - A field blend from 100 year-old vines aged in new French oak for 20 months. Elegant and carefully concentrated, this brooding Ponte has a big kick on the finish. It has the potential for long aging (perhaps even better than indicated) and development in the cellar.
